Hit Gold in January and you are Gold until the following December. Nearly two years of status off one good run. Crowns never expire either, so nothing you bank here evaporates while you are not looking. I would build a whole season around that timing.

The short version

Two currencies doing two jobs. Crowns are what you spend and they sit there indefinitely. Tier Credits are what you climb with and those wipe every January. The part nobody tells you is that the tier you reach holds for the rest of that year and the whole of the next one, so the month you climb matters as much as the climbing. Everything counts toward both, sportsbook and casino, and you are enrolled the moment you open the account.

What we like

• The prices lead the board. On the August 26 board we compared 575 games across ten leagues. DraftKings had the best or tied-best number on 293 of 644 prices. FanDuel was 288 of 622. That is 45.5% against 46.3%, and a gap that small is noise, not an edge. DraftKings and FanDuel lead the five books we track on raw price and there is nothing to choose between them. Both are ahead of BetMGM by enough to be real.
• Crowns never expire. No inactivity timer, no annual purge. What you banked last season is still sitting there. They convert at 550 Crowns to one DK Dollar, which is a dollar of bonus play, and you can put them toward merchandise or contest entries in the Dynasty Store instead of straight back onto the board.
• Status carries a full extra year. Reach a tier and you keep it for the rest of that calendar year plus all of the next. Every other laddered program here makes you re-earn your status inside twelve months. This is the one mechanic that should change how you play it, and I doubt many people use it deliberately.
• Casino play counts the same. Both currencies accrue on sportsbook and casino activity, so a mixed account climbs faster than a sportsbook-only one. If you already play both in the same app, nothing sits stranded in a separate program.

Getting the most out of Dynasty Rewards

Keep the two currencies straight and the rest follows. Crowns are the balance you spend, and they are permanent. Tier Credits are the score that sets your tier, and they reset on 1 January no matter what you did the year before.

The published ladder starts at Bronze, which you join automatically and which already gets you into the Dynasty Store. Silver arrives at 5,000 Tier Credits and Gold at 25,000. Diamond and Onyx sit above those and come by invitation rather than a posted number, so for most accounts the ladder you can actually plan around stops at Gold.

What each rung adds is mostly the weekly chest. Silver chests hold at least 500 Crowns, Gold at least 2,000, Diamond at least 10,000, Onyx at least 20,000. Gold also earns up to 4,000 rollover credits and Diamond up to 15,000. At Diamond you pick up a dedicated VIP host and an annual gift. Invitations to events come with it. Onyx adds funded travel and hospitality tickets on top.

Here is the part worth acting on. Because status runs to the end of the following year, the month you reach a tier decides how long you hold it. Hit Gold in January and you keep it for roughly two years. Hit the same Gold in December and you keep it about thirteen months, on identical spend. If you are close to a threshold late in the year, wait until January and start the run at its longest.

The app

The Apple listing sits at 4.8 out of 5 across roughly 1.2 million ratings, the second largest ratings base of the books we cover. Sportsbook and casino share one login, with horse racing through DraftKings Racing and a separate predictions product folded into the same app.

What you will actually use: same game parlays, live in-game betting with odds that move while you watch, and player props across every sport it carries. The prediction markets reach outside sport as well, which is either a draw or clutter depending on what you came for. It is the busiest app of the five, and I am not convinced that is a good thing.

Worth knowing before you sign up

• 550 Crowns to the dollar is a slow burn. Crowns never expiring is genuinely useful, but the conversion means a balance that looks substantial is worth less than the number suggests. Read the Crown total as a long-run rebate, not a spendable pot, and check what it converts to before you plan around it.
• Tier Credits reset regardless. Your status carries, but the credits that earned it do not. Every January you start the climb again from zero, so a strong year buys you protected status rather than a head start.
• The top two tiers are invitation only. Diamond and Onyx carry the funded travel and the dedicated host, and neither publishes a threshold you can aim at. Judge this program on Silver and Gold, because those are the rungs you can actually plan to reach.

Where you can bet it

DraftKings runs online sports betting across most of the legal American map. If you can bet legally where you live, it is very likely DraftKings is already there. Check its own site for your state before you sign up.
