A season of Sunday parlays can end with a free weekend at the Bellagio. That is not a figure of speech. Every bet earns points that spend at any of the 20-plus MGM resorts, and whatever is left converts to Marriott Bonvoy and goes anywhere in the world. I have not seen another sportsbook program that reaches that far off the betting slip.

The short version

Two currencies, one account, and they do different jobs. Points are what you spend. Tier Credits are what decide how the hotel treats you when you turn up. Both come off every bet you place, win or lose. On top of that you get one of the deepest market menus of any book we cover and a feature called Edit My Bet, which lets you change a wager after you have already placed it. That last one is the thing I would miss most.

• Edit My Bet fixes a ticket you already placed. Add a leg, swap a selection, drop the pick that is going sideways, or put more money on the one that is working. It runs on any bet where Cash Out is available. So what does that mean on a Sunday? Your Ravens leg looks dead by halftime and you can cut it loose without torching the other four. The alternative everywhere else is cashing out and rebuilding the whole slip at worse numbers.
• The market menu is deep enough to matter. BetMGM carries one of the widest selections of player props and alternate lines of any book we cover. For a same-game parlay that is the difference between finding the exact leg you wanted and settling for the nearest thing on the board.
• Live MLB streaming with a funded account. Watch the game and bet it on one screen. It is not every game and it leans heavily baseball, so this is not a reason to sign up on its own. But when the game is there it beats juggling two apps.

Getting the most out of MGM Rewards

This is the part that makes BetMGM worth an account.

You earn on two tracks at once. Points are the currency you spend. Tier Credits are the score that sets your status, and the status is where the real money hides. A $100 straight bet at -110 earns at least 20 of each. The same $100 on a parlay at +300 earns at least 50. Longer odds pay more on both tracks, so the rewards lean the same way a parlay bettor already leans.

There are five tiers. Sapphire, then Pearl, then Gold, then Platinum, with NOIR above all of them by invitation only. Gold is where it starts being real: waived resort fees and valet parking, which across a Vegas weekend is a couple of hundred dollars you were going to hand over anyway. Platinum adds suite upgrades, celebration credits worth $500 or more, and up to $600 a year in air travel. NOIR gets a dedicated VIP host and $1,200 in flights.

The move most people miss is the Bonvoy conversion. Your points swap into Marriott Bonvoy at a fixed rate, and Bonvoy covers more than 8,000 hotels in 139 countries. You never have to set foot in Las Vegas to cash out. That is the version I would build around.

The app

Sportsbook and casino share one login, with poker alongside them where all three are licensed. The Apple listing sits at 4.8 out of 5 across roughly 261,000 ratings, right at the top of the category. It is a joint venture between MGM Resorts International and Entain, and Entain supplies the betting platform, so the risk engine setting these numbers is the same one behind Ladbrokes and Coral in the UK.

What you will actually use: Lion’s Boost puts enhanced odds on a handful of bets every day. Same Game Parlay Plus lets you staple same-game parlays from different games onto one ticket. Cash Out runs on most pre-game and live bets. And the streaming player, on the games they carry.

Worth knowing before you sign up

• Bonus bets die in seven days. That is a tighter window than some books run, and it is the kind of rule that quietly eats a whole promotion. If you take a welcome offer here, decide which week you are going to use it before you claim it.
• The prices trail the sharpest books. On the August 26 board we compared 575 games across ten leagues. BetMGM had the best or tied-best number on 226 of 570 prices. FanDuel was 288 of 622 and DraftKings 293 of 644, and both of those gaps are wide enough to be a real difference rather than noise. Keep a second book open and compare before you commit to anything big.

Where you can bet it
