Both teams are 5-2, and both have been blown out by the one power-conference team they played: North Texas lost 52-16 at Indiana, and FAU lost 66-21 at Florida. North Texas scores in bunches, but it gave up 49 at Texas State and 44 at Tulsa. The ratings make the Mean Green about a five-point favorite, so two touchdowns is a lot. Owls with the points.
Troy at James Madison, 7:30 PM ET, ESPN2
James Madison is 7-1, and the only loss was 34-31 at App State last Thursday. Troy is 3-4, lost 33-6 at Louisiana and lost 21-14 at home to ULM. The ratings have the Dukes about 23 points better at home. Laying this many points is never comfortable, but the gap is big. Dukes.
